Dulles meets State Department employees. Mutual Security Director Stassen, Adm. Assistant Val Peterson, and Defense Sec. Wilson are sworn in at White House ceremonies. Eisenhower is present. Sec. Wilson states that he takes his post without conflicting demands on his time. Part 5, firemen fight flames aboard the liner Empress of Canada docked at Liverpool. Lifeboats are lowered from the liner Klipfontein as she sinks off East Africa. The Bloemfontein Castle takes survivors aboard.
